In the winter of 2018, a special project took place in the crisp, refreshing air of Los Angeles. It was a Marie Claire magazine photoshoot featuring SHINee’s Key, known for his distinctive style and captivating presence. To fully capture his unique charm, the shoot was thoughtfully set against the backdrop of Downtown LA.
ROA Entertainment was responsible for the overall coordination of the project, from location scouting to on-site production management. We carefully explored and selected locations that embodied the vintage yet urban character of Downtown LA, focusing on finding the perfect setting for each concept. Every detail—from street textures and architectural lines to the direction of natural light—was meticulously considered to enhance the overall quality of the shoot.
On the day of the shoot, we oversaw all on-site operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. We facilitated seamless communication between the production team from Korea and the local crew, enabling effective collaboration. By responding quickly to unexpected situations and maintaining strong on-site coordination, we ensured that the shoot progressed smoothly, ultimately resulting in a visually striking and highly refined editorial.
